If you incorporate some of these items into your diet, you'll see your LDL levels decrease and your stomach won't feel so empty, either.
4. Take a vitamin.
It doesn't get easier than this. Look for multivitamins that contain folic acid, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12. Studies have revealed a reduced risk of heart disease when these are consumed, and it's important to make sure you're getting enough of these as you modify your diet.
5. Just relax, will you!
Stress is the devilish fiend that seems to trip up our healthy wiring, and its onset can actually trigger mechanical responses that exacerbate the risks of elevated cholesterol. It causes constriction of arteries, reduced blood flow and raises blood pressure. So make it a routine to do something you enjoy each day; it's important so that you can relax, and just take it easy once in while.
Although change is the only constant, making a deliberate change and sticking to it is not easy. But thinking of the health benefits that comes with this change can be a powerful motivator.
