WEDDING WHITES GET A MAKEOVER

Wedding ‘wows’ are taking on a whole new hue.

Whether the event is laid back and casual or amped up sophistication, every bride wants that something special that sets it apart.  It may be the dress, the retinue’s attire, the hair, the venue, the décor, the music, the speeches, the cake, the food or the flowers – but we all hope for that something special that will have the guests awestruck.

Colourful flowers are one sure way of adding interest and intrigue to the nuptials, with more and more brides pushing the boundaries of convention.  Traditional white weddings are still in vogue but bright colours are taking more of the centre stage.

For a jaw-dropping impression, what about these bright and bold colour combinations?..

A green theme is another fresh and interesting concept that is gaining popularity – especially as eco concerns come to the fore.  Fresh and inspiring, green is an easy colour with which to experiment.  Pink and green are a gorgeous combination and it goes well with other colours too.  Green foliage comes in a stunning array of tones and textures, and some flower types include chrysanthemums, lilies, limes, bamboo and gladioli.
